LIVE INTERVIEW  WITH GOSPEL ARTIST JEWEL LUCIEN!
Jewel Lucian

In our travels to Nashville, Tennessee for the 25th Annual Stellar Award we were invited to one of many pre-shows and separate parties. A professional recording studio in the heart of the city called S.I.R where several independent artist came to express their talent on stage.

We witness everything from awesome choirs with voices reminded you of Sunday morning, to groups with toe tapping songs that make you smile on the inside. AND then there was one particular artist we had the pleasure to interview Jewel Lucien who sopranic voice blew the roof off the building.

Performing one her debut single, “You Keep on Blessing Me,” and others, with her sultry sound and energetic vibe; she not only wowed the audience, she ushered in a great anointed which left the crowd on a spiritual high.

I asked Jewel a few questions regarding her choice and career in Gospel Music. In she replied in the most humble way.

Darrell: Why do you sing Gospel Music?

Jewel: I sing gospel because I know God has plans for the Gift he has given me. Its not for me to use as I wish to do. He has spoken that to me and I’m being obedient and I’m walking in that

Darrell: Saying that, What inspire you to do Gospel Music?

Jewel: His Holy Spirit. The presence of the Lord that I feel when I minister in song.

Darrell: What would you say to other upcoming artist taking the same career path?

Jewel: I would say seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things will be added unto them.

Darrell: Asking everybody; What do you think God is saying in 2010 to you, through your music, for his people?

Jewel: He is saying that we are going through a change. That we all need to change our inner man, that we all need to connect, we need  more compassion for one another in this time. Even with the earthquake in Haiti, even with what, they are going through. This is a time of Change.

After ending the interview she gave me a hug and just as compassionate and embracing her gesture was I believe those in the gospel industry and audience will embrace her the same.

Darrell,

You made an excellent choice of an interviewee.
I\'ve known Jewel before she was born and she is the seed from
a
mother who sings with the anointing of the Lord. For Jewel,
\"The best is yest to come\", a favorite quote of
my
Pastor.  \"To God Be The Glory\"!!!
